Minister of Education and Communications, Finland Visit to KSU

HE Minister of Education and Communications, Finland, Ms. Krista Kiuru, HE Ambassador of Finland, Mr. Pekka Voutilainen, and a delegation of other senior officials and business men from Finland, visited KSU on November 4, 2014.

The aim of the visit was to get first hand information about King Saud University and its facilities and programs, introduce the Finnish Higher Education System to KSU and to explore the possibilities of cooperation and student exchange between KSU and top Finnish universities.

The delegation was received by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ruwais, Vice Rector, Dr. Ahmed Al-Aameri, Vice Rector for Graduate Studies & Scientific Research and Dr. Mezyad Alterkawi, Director International Cooperation & Scientific Twinning Department.  The KSU officials briefed the delegation about KSU and its facilities and programs.  Ms. Kiuru gave a brief about Finnish Higher Education System and showed interest in collaborating with KSU in different areas of mutual interest, specially participating in students exchange program.

It was an important visit to expand the collaborations between Finnish educational institutions and KSU, and it would go a long way to bring good for both the countries.
