King Saud University welcomes a delegation from Finland

Under the able leadership of H.E. Mr. Eero Suominen Ambassador, Team Finland Coordinator at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, a Finnish delegation visited King Saud University. The Finnish delegation was welcomed and hosted by Vice Rector  Dr. Abdullah S. Al-Salman, Vice Rector for Graduate Studies & Scientific Research Dr. Ahmed Al-Aameri along with. Dr. Mezyad Alterkawi, director of International Cooperation and Scientific Twinning Department and deans of King Saud University.
 
They discussed about the possible collaboration in teacher’s training program and cooperation in the field of healthcare and rehabilitation, collaboration within the healthcare services and technologies, healthcare education and research including medical and nursing training and post graduate programs.
 
After the initial introductory session, the Finnish delegation was split into different groups and was sent to the concerned departments with the deans of the department.
 
The leadership of the Finnish delegation had a detailed meeting with King Saud University leadership. This KSU group included Vice Rector Dr. Abdullah S. Al-Salman, Vice Rector for Graduate Studies & Scientific Research Dr. Ahmed Al-Aameri, Professor Abdullah M. Al-Zeer and Dr Mezyad Alterkawi. During this discussion, they explored the possibilities of joint research and student exchange.
 
At the end of the visit, the guests expressed their appreciation and willingness to have a long term relationship with King Saud University for the coming years.
